1961 Royal Typewriter Futura 800

Design: Known for its space-age design with a curved, aerodynamic shape and often vibrant color combinations, like the red, white, and blue model shown. Production: Manufactured by the Royal Typewriter Company from 1958 to 1962, succeeding the Royal Quiet Deluxe. Features: The Futura 800 was the top-of-the-line portable model, including features such as a tabulator, color ribbon selector, backspace, touch control, and margin release. Intended Use: Marketed towards home users and students for occasional typing needs, despite its robust appearance, it was not considered ideal for serious writers. Aesthetics: Praised for its unique typeface and stylish appearance, making it a popular vintage item for display or light use. working condition missing case. rare red white and blue Americana theme
