Even a small amount used as a culinary accent releases a rich aroma in the mouth. As expected of an aromatic herb, it has a strong fragrance. It also has digestive benefits! Its high nutritional value is also noteworthy. Dill's characteristic leaves and aroma add an accent to many dishes, while its growth process and plant characteristics are also quite interesting.

.The leaves are used as a spice in meat dishes, fish dishes, egg dishes, and vegetable marinades. They can be used in cooked dishes such as sautéed or stewed, as well as in raw preparations like marinated salmon and vegetables.


? Carrots

??Sowing: Mid-March to mid-April, late July to August
Harvest: 120 days after sowing

Check the diameter of the root. Once it has grown to a sufficient size, grasp the base of the leaves and pull straight up. If the soil is hard and difficult to pull out, dig around the base of the plant with a shovel before pulling.

After harvesting carrots, cut off the leaves at the base. If the leaves remain attached, the root will become soft. Also, carrots with evenly spaced lateral roots are said to be tastier.
