Bacchus Vintage Series BJB-62 Early Japanese-made Lacquer
This is a Bacchus BJB-62 LPBM Jazz Bass.
This is a highly crafted bass made in Japan in the early 2000s. It originally retailed for around ¥100,000, but in today's market, it's comparable to higher-end instruments than PGM, and I believe it's on par with Momose class instruments.
The Lake Placid Blue Metallic color is also rare.
It features a Fender headstock, which is not found in Bacchus's current lineup, and has reverse-wound tuners and a lacquer finish, making it an authentic 60s specification.
Japanese models that follow vintage specs, such as Fender American Vintage and Vanzandt, have seen significant price increases recently. Even Fender Japan's lacquer models are now difficult to find for under ¥100,000. However, this bass offers comparable quality, so it's a great option for those looking for a vintage-spec Jazz Bass.
