Vintage 1977 Culinary Arts Institute Microwave Cooking  Published by Delair Publishing Company 1977.  Manufactured in the USA and published in Canada.  Part of the Adventures in Cooking Series.  It serves as a historical snapshot from a time when residential microwaves were rapidly growing in popularity across American kitchens.   Because home microwaves were still a relatively new concept, cookbooks like this focused heavily on demystifying the technology. They provided step-by-step methods for everyday tasks like defrosting, reheating, and quick-cooking traditional dishes (such as the pineapple upside-down cake featured on the cover).  It was distributed in both trade paperback and hardcover formats, typically running around 80 to 96 pages.    This specific book is the hardcover version.  It is in excellent vintage condition and has amazing photo illustrations!
