The engraved silver buckle hardware belongs to Lucchese, meaning your item is a valuable custom hybrid setup.A previous owner took a premium silver-plated or sterling Lucchese 3-piece buckle set and mounted it directly onto a heavy-duty, USA-made Buffalo Billfolds & Belts oil-tanned leather Ranger strap. Mixing high-end makers like this is very common in western wear to combine a highly detailed, branded buckle with a tougher everyday work strap. Sizing: Though this belt says 44, Western belt makers stamp the total strap length (44) on the right side and the waist size (36) on the left because a properly fitting belt requires roughly 8 inches of extra leather to comfortably buckle into the center hole and pass through the pants loops.
