Venetian Masquerade Mask Vintage Gold and Silver Tone Brooches

Each of these brooches showcases a different interpretation of the classic carnival masks.  The gold tone has a “Volvo” style face mask with a sleek, minimalist expression.  It’s uniquely accented by a large, sweeping feather that curves over the right eye.  It features a sophisticated matte go,d tone finish n the face, providing a soft, glowing texture.  The feathers have a bark like texture adding realistic details to them.  The silver tone mask has a more ornate, asymmetrical headdress made of intricate openwork filigree.  The face has decorative filigree in plated silver tone.  It has clear faceted rhinestone beauty mark on the cheek and a beaded headband.  The silver tone on this piece shows minor pitting wear consistent with age, which can happen with certain base metals over time.  The gold tone has shows wear on the stone.
