This is a high-quality calligraphy brush, Bunho No. 2 (made by Kubota Go, Kumano brush).
This brush is meticulously crafted from high-quality sheep wool, possessing a good balance of softness, elasticity, and firmness, making it a medium-sized brush suitable for Kanji calligraphy on half-sheet and half-cut paper.

This brush is about 15 years old and may have some minor scuffs, but it is an unused brush with no ink or water marks and is in very good condition.
