50s Silver-plated Daffodil Pattern Cutlery Set 12 in Wooden Case

Beautiful silver plated 1950’s era flatware cutlery setin Daffodil Pattern marked IS-International Silver.  This vintage set of wedding gift silver plated silverware is sooo pretty, purchased 20 years ago as a college kid from a high end estate sale for double the list price from the original bride because I saw the beauty and value of premium flatware.   Used on holidays and special occasions by the bride and myself, but you should use it daily as silver flatware allegedly offers health benefits.  A  light natural patina over time can be polished out as has not been used for several years.The more you use it, the better it looks. Box is heavily scratched on exterior and shows age wear on interior red velveteen lining.  Eating from silver, silver-plated flatware is alleged to be beneficial to your health, not to mention you will have an elegant dining experience.   Service for 12:12 each of knife, salad fork, dinner fork, table spoon, butter knife; 24 teaspoons and 2 serving pieces-cheese spreader and dip spoon.Light patina can be polished with barkeepers friend polish. Hand wash and dry and store in the included tarnish preventive box when not in use. Wooden box has scratches and wear to finish throughought the exterior. Hallmarked what appears to be IS (International Silver). Flower Daffodil pattern.
