Vintage Stetson Rio Meadow Rose 20 Pc Dinnerware Set Service for 4 MCM USA

Add a beautiful mid-century floral accent to the table with this vintage Stetson China dinnerware set in the Rio Meadow Rose pattern (1950s). This complete 20-piece set provides service for four. Each five-piece place setting includes a dinner plate, coupe soup bowl, bread and butter plate, teacup, and saucer. The creamy white dinnerware is decorated with large rose pink and burgundy flowers, green and yellow leaves, and graceful brown stems. Because the pattern was hand painted under the glaze, each piece has its own subtle decorative variations. The dinner plates and soup bowls retain the printed backstamp reading: Rio Hand Painted Under Glaze Stetson China Co. Lincoln, Illinois Set includes: • 4 dinner plates measuring approximately 10.5 inches in diameter • 4 coupe soup bowls measuring approximately 8 inches in diameter and 1.5 inches tall • 4 bread and butter plates measuring approximately 6.25 inches in diameter • 4 saucers measuring approximately 6.25 inches in diameter • 4 teacups measuring approximately 2 inches tall and 3.75 inches in diameter Total pieces: 20 Very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Some pieces have crazing, and a few have minor manufacturing irregularities in the glaze. Because the floral decoration was hand painted, there are natural variations among the individual pieces.
