43 Vtg Tip-Top Goody Metal Hair Curlers Clip Silver Aluminum Perm Rod USA 2-3.5"

Vintage Lot of 43 old aluminum, metal hair curlers or clips perm waving rods.  Assorted barrel sizes with lengths from 2 to 3.5.  I'm not familiar with how these work or if they need pins or anything to go with them.  I've seen them before in estate lots, but never seen them actually used.  They look like the later plastic or rubber type perm rods, but in metal.  Selling as-is, as found - see the pics in zoom to get a good close look and for condition.  Lengths vary, but mostly in 2-3.5 sizes.  Different brands - Tip-Top, Goody, mostly and made in the USA.  These have been cleaned, so no sticky old hair products on them.  They look 95% complete, maybe an end cap or two missing.   They look like Bride of Frankenstein curlers...... lol!
