Contrabass Strings (Belcanto) - Set of 4 (G, D, A, E) - Used

This is a used set of 4 Thomastik Belcanto double bass strings (G, D, A, E strings, manufacturer part numbers BC61-64).

The G string will be packed in its bag for shipping (bags for the other strings have been discarded and are not included).

The condition and usage history are as follows:
- Used for approximately 1 year on a 3/4 double bass (played 1-2 times per week) and approximately 1 year on a 3/4 upright bass (played several times per week), for a total of approximately 2 years. Primarily used for arco.
- Bending marks are present on the parts that contact the bridge and nut (see photos 3 and 4).
- Winding marks are present on the parts that wrap around the pegs.
- On the D string, there is a slight gap in the winding on the part that contacts the bridge and nut (likely due to string stretching).
- There are no frays in the windings, including on the D string mentioned above.
- Cleaned with a dry cloth only; no chemicals such as alcohol were used.
- As this is a used item, there may be some dirt that cannot be removed with a cloth (e.g., black dirt on the E string in photo 4).
- While I believe there are no playing-impeding issues (such as catching on fingers), please understand that this is a subjective assessment.
