Full Suit Men’s Indian Wedding Guest Outfit XL/2XL

Purchased in Jaipur, India, this is a men’s full Indian wedding suit - basically the Indian wedding version of a 3-piece suit.   Professionally tailored, this fits like an XL/2XL for a 6ft 1” 230lb build.  Other reference measurements -  Collar 17” P2P 22”   The outfit is made up 5 pieces of garments, as follows -  Base layer - 1/ Crisp white embroidered long sleeved kurta from Fabindia 100% cotton. 1/2 button-down. Lightweight.  Shoulder to hem 32”  Base layer - 2/ Free size white Churidar-style pants 100% cotton.  Stiff and thicker in weight, a more substantial cotton for pants.  Waist is adjusted with the drawstring ties - max waist 54” Churidar-style pants have a sort of harem pants drop-crotch silhouette, extra long inseam 44” that bunches tight at the calves. Cuffs are 12”.   Mid layer - 3/ Grey with olive/navy checkered pattern waistcoat with stiff mandarin collar. It features an exterior left breast pocket, two waist welt pockets. Inside right breast pocket with maker’s mark.   Stiff, fully lined with a bright blue paisley that fabric - smooth and cool to the touch.  Shoulder to hem 29.5” There is a stain in the back.   Outer layer - 4/ Long black diamond textured jacquard sherwani (blazer equivalent) stiff mandarin collar, high-low hem, with ornate one-inch gold tone buttons that are fastened diagonally across the chest. Sort of a military aesthetic.  Shoulder to hem 40-47”  5/ Red accent sash  Worn once. Excellent shape. 1 & 2 machine washable. 3 & 4 dry clean.
