This gorgeous hand cut lead crystal bell was made in West Germany, marked with the original foil label reading over 24% PbO, Genuine Lead Crystal, Handcut, Made in W. Germany. Because this label uses Western Germany, the piece dates to before 1990, making it a true vintage find. The bell features a fan and leaf cut pattern with a brushed floral medallion on the front, faceted diamond cutting along the base, and a hexagonal cut stem. It has beautiful clarity and catches the light from every angle, a hallmark of genuine lead crystal. A lovely piece for a china cabinet, a vanity, or as a tabletop accent.
