This is Shirakuren-iro, also known as Gentle White.
While it falls under the category of white, compared to pure white, it has a softer look that enhances the complexion and creates a gentle atmosphere. (^^)

We have received this off-white, horizontal Ro weave, high-quality polyester summer fabric! (^^)
It looks indistinguishable from pure silk, and it also has the excellent advantage of being easily washable, making it a popular choice.
This item is brand new, unused, and unopened, fresh from the supplier.
It's neither too thick nor too thin, so unlike cheaper alternatives, you won't see the shape of the under-kimono collar (nagajuban collar) showing through when simply sewn on.
It's not shiny or rough either. (If you have very high expectations, please spend about three times as much and buy pure silk...)
On the other hand, it's easy to wash, and if you hang it to dry while stretched out, ironing is generally not necessary.
