Lyre Harp, Wooden Harp, 7 Strings, Steiner, Tuning Hammer Not Included

Lyre
This is a Kinderharfe from Auris.
Pentatonic scale
D, E, G, A, B, D, E

Everything shown in the photos is included.
(Excluding the towel used for height adjustment)
A wooden open-body harp with 7 strings, allowing you to enjoy its sound.

I originally purchased this at an Omochibako store, which sells Steiner education materials.
I bought it on impulse and didn't have many opportunities to use it. After my child was born, I would occasionally pluck the strings.

There are minor scratches from normal use. Please refer to the photos for other details.

The tuning hammer is missing, so this is for someone who already owns one or is aware of this situation. The tuning is currently not correct; it is slightly off.

It may be available at authorized retailers or home centers, but I am not sure.

Lyre is German for lyre.
Its origins can be traced back to the lyre of Apollo in Greek mythology. It is not an ancient instrument but a relatively new one created about 80 years ago.
The lyre is an instrument that produces a pleasant sound that resonates with the heart, and also allows you to listen to silence.

Auris lyres are created with the aim of producing instruments that utilize the bright and clear tone quality of the maple wood.
For this purpose, the strings are relatively thick and tightly tensioned, allowing vibrations to penetrate the entire instrument and resonate.

Along with plucking the strings, you can also enjoy different tonal qualities by tapping the back of the soundboard.
For this reason, the soundboard has a Y-shaped cut.

[Pentatonic 7-tone]
D, E, G, A, B, D, E

[Pentatonic Scale]
By omitting C and F, the 5-note scale of D, E, G, A, B creates beautiful harmonies that do not sound dissonant.
