Vintage Showa Era FUJICA DL-100 DATE Film Camera
This is the Fuji DL-100 Date compact camera.
Released in the 1980s, this compact camera was designed by Italian designer Mario Bellini. It features a Drop-In Loading (DIL) mechanism for easy film loading. The camera's design is characterized by its straight lines, with the grip shape being particularly distinctive. It also has a date setting dial that allows you to physically switch the date to be imprinted, but the year can only be set between '83 and '97 (or turned off).
As shown in the last two images, there is some clouding on the glass lens cover.
The lens itself should be fine.
The battery contacts are clean and in good condition.
We have confirmed the operation of the shutter, flash, and winding mechanism by inserting batteries, but we have not tested it with film.
The internal light seals (molt) were deteriorated and peeling, so they have been replaced.
As it is an old item, there are some scratches and dirt, but considering its age, it is in good condition. Please check the images for the condition.
