Description
This is a vintage Hollywood Regency style wall shelf, a popular mid-century decorative piece made by Homco. The shelf is characterized by its ornate, Florentine or Rococo-inspired aesthetic, featuring scrolled filigree and prominently carved roses. While it has the appearance of carved gilt wood, this vintage piece was manufactured from a durable synthetic resin or plastic designed to look like heavy wood. This specific rose-patterned shelf was likely produced in the USA during the late 1960s and 1970's. In very good vintage pre-owned condition. Some scuffing in the shelf top, please see last three pictures.
