Handmade Blue and Pink Stained Glass Wall Shelf Tiffany Style 12in Curio Ledge

Handmade stained glass wall-mount shelf: baby blue swirled cathedral glass in an organic shell shape with a built-in 2.5 inch pale pink deep display ledge. Copper foil leaded construction. 12 inches wide by 9 inches high.  The copper foil leaded technique was refined by Louis Comfort Tiffany in the 1880s and became the go-to method for small studio stained-glass work throughout the 20th century, especially in the studio-glass revival of the 1970s and 80s when home hobbyists all over the country were making Tiffany-style lamps and shelves. This one is that era: cloud-swirled baby blue cathedral glass in an organic sculpted shape with a real functional 2.5 inch ledge for a small figurine, a plant, or a crystal.
