Description
This is a mint condition, ultra-rare model.
With market prices for instruments like J-guitars exceeding 200,000 yen, they are highly sought after, so please consider this offer!
This model differs in wood grade, with the headstock and pickguard decorated in tortoiseshell pattern, an original mother-of-pearl logo, and different internal labeling.

This is a mandolin I cherish, so please conduct the transaction with courtesy and good manners. Also, please refrain from unreasonable discount negotiations.

About Kasuga Mandolins
Founded in Fuso Town by Kazuaki Kasuga, a businessman who later became a renowned politician, he brought craftsmen from Suzuki Violin. The popularity was so immense that orders were constant, making him a key figure in the birth of Nagoya's musical instrument industry. Even after its closure, due to its meticulous and robust construction and original designs, it is traded at high prices, fueled by the Japan Vintage boom.

Playability
Over 20 years have passed since its manufacture, and the neck has a slight forward bow. While there is a slight buzzing when picking strongly, it is not an issue for normal playing. The double cutaway makes playing in the higher frets very easy, making it very useful for sessions and solo pieces.

Sound
The brilliance unique to rosewood and its excellent acoustic resonance are exquisite.
Instruments from this era used high-quality materials with little regard for cost. The rosewood back has beautiful grain and is of a very high grade.
The neck has a well-balanced, rounded profile that fits comfortably in the hand.

Condition
The artificial tortoiseshell on the headstock and the binding around the body, which tend to deteriorate with age, are still in beautiful condition. Although there is slight sun fading and some minor scratches, considering its age, it is in beautiful condition.

Notes
Please examine the photos carefully before considering your purchase, as there may be overlooked scratches. Those seeking shop-level quality or who are overly sensitive should refrain from purchasing.
