Petzl Rig

The compact self-braking descender, the RIG, offers comfortable descent control thanks to its ergonomically designed handle. The auto-lock system allows for easy stopping at a work position without needing to operate the handle or tie off the rope. Even when locked, slack can be taken out of the rope without operating the handle. The safety catch allows the rope to be installed on the harness and to pass intermediate anchors while the device is connected. The parts of the device that come into contact with the rope are reinforced with stainless steel for increased durability.
