Vintage 1986 Eden Toys Beatrix Potter Tom Kitten Flocked Plush Figurine With Tag

This is a charming vintage 1986 flocked plush figurine of Tom Kitten from the beloved World of Beatrix Potter, beautifully crafted by Eden Toys. This nostalgic piece features a soft, light grey flocked body with striking bright blue inset plastic eyes and a molded grey muzzle. He comes dressed in his iconic light blue fabric outfit, complete with a delicate, intricately detailed white lace trim collar. Adding to his delightful design is a soft, plush tail featuring distinct grey and black stripes.  This collectible figurine is in excellent vintage condition and retains its original paper hang tag attached securely by a yellow string. The front of the vintage retail tag displays original department store pricing of $3.50 along with style number 100007, vendor 613, department 131, class 029, and season S47. The reverse side of the hang tag clearly reads TOM KITTEN A BEATRIX POTTER TOY ® BY EDEN ®. The original cloth tush tag is also perfectly intact sewn into the seam of his blue suit, marked with © FREDERICK WARNE & CO. INC. 1986 on one side, and USA: © EDEN TOYS, INC. 1986 KOREA MADE IN KOREA on the other.  As shown alongside the ruler, the piece measures approximately 4.5 inches in total length from the tips of his ears to the end of his outstretched striped tail.
