Vintage Shawnee Pottery Pie Bird Vent White Pink Green 5.25” Kitchen Collectible

Shawnee Pottery pie bird vent from the 1940s–1950s. Featuring a classic white glazed body with a soft pink beak and base, plus bright green eyes, this whimsical ceramic pie bird is both a functional baking tool and a highly collectible piece of American pottery. Originally designed to sit in the center of fruit pies, the bird allows steam to escape through its open beak, helping prevent boil-overs while promoting a crisp, evenly baked crust. Today, Shawnee pie birds are treasured by collectors and make wonderful farmhouse or vintage kitchen décor.
