CANTINI FIRENZE tie.  Handmade in Italy.  100% silk construction.  Blue red and black plaid design.  Luxury neckwear.  Excellent condition.  Todd Fingerling picked this up, saw Firenze, and immediately began looking for the airport. He inspected both ends of the tie, checked the stitching, then spent twenty minutes trying to determine whether the plaid pattern represented major roads leading into Florence and where the toll booths were located.  I needed to be somewhere else.  So I went straight to Dorsia. I ordered oak-smoked pheasant breast resting on black currant reduction with roasted chestnut crumble and black truffle shaved by a man who appeared to own a Tuscan vineyard, a Florence townhouse, and several handmade silk ties displayed beneath museum-grade lighting.  The waiter nodded once and said, Excellent choice, sir.  I picked this up right before some bozo did.  Shipped right — packed by someone who understands handmade Italian neckwear, not someone stuffing a silk tie into a toolbox full of rusty sockets and extension cords.  Comes from a smoke-free lair.
