Description
Striking, highly collectible hand-painted ceramic vase from Amphora Czechoslovakia, circa 1920’s-1930’s. This Art Deco design vase features a raised relief of stylized flowers, leaves and geometric designs in bright, vibrant colors. The stamped underglaze oval mark reads Amphora/Made in Czechoslovakia, albeit very hard to read even with magnification-see photo. Mold number 15165 is impressed on the base. This vase is approximately 10 inches tall and 5 1/3 inches in diameter. In very good vintage condition with no cracks, chips, breaks or repairs. Crazing is visible inside the vase and on the base.
