This horseshoe was actually worn by a Thoroughbred, so it has some scratches.
After cleaning and disinfecting with alcohol, it has been painted in a gold metallic finish.
Horseshoes have long been known as amulets and items that bring good luck.
It is said that displaying them in a U-shape brings good luck, and displaying them upside down wards off bad luck.
Personally, I display one at the entrance and one between the floors.
