Louis Vuitton used Talon and other old zipper makers on some older bags, especially from the 1960s–1970s era. Modern LV bags usually use LV-branded hardware or Eclair/YKK depending on the era. * The honey-colored leather trim (vachetta) looks naturally aged and oxidized in a believable way. * The monogram canvas texture and stitching appear consistent with older LV craftsmanship from what can be seen. * That unusual paper/fabric “Under Special License” tag is actually something seen on some very old Louis Vuitton pieces, especially early U.S.-market items and luggage. It is not the same as the modern embossed leather date-code tabs people are used to today.
