Michael Rath R3/R4 Gold Brass Tuning Slide
Thank you for looking.
As noted below, this is a rare part for users of the RASS system.
I believe this would be most useful for RASS users. I am open to reasonable price negotiations, so please feel free to leave a comment.
This is a tuning slide for a Michael Rath trombone.
Material: Gold brass
Compatible with both R3 and R4 models.
There is some plating peeling due to scratches from approximately 2 years of use, but there are no dents.
The standard is yellow brass, but this is the gold brass option.
Subjectively, it produces a slightly warmer tone.
When paired with a yellow or nickel bell, it creates a setting where a bit of resonance is added to a clear tone. (The store I purchased it from recommended this, and I actually tried it out. I felt it was more cost-effective than changing the bell.)
I am selling this as I have purchased a different part and will have fewer opportunities to use it.
Purchasing new is currently very expensive and has a long lead time. With the high pound exchange rate, you should expect to pay over 100,000 yen.
Please consider this opportunity.
*While it is in good condition, it is a used item, so please no claims or returns (NCNR). Those who are sensitive about condition should refrain from purchasing.
