Batman Begins ('05 US)
Bruce Wayne, the son of a wealthy family, witnesses the murder of his parents before his eyes. He travels the world to find a way to defeat evil and overcome his fear. Upon returning to Gotham City, he unleashes his other self with the help of his loyal butler Alfred, Gotham City Police Detective Jim Gordon, and Lucius Fox, who supports Batman's weapon development. This Knight of Darkness, clad in a jet-black suit, now uses his peak fighting skills, intelligence, and state-of-the-art combat tools to confront a group of villains plotting to destroy Gotham City.
The Dark Knight ('08 US)
Batman works with Police Commissioner Jim Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent to rid Gotham of organized crime. As the three achieve success through their remarkable teamwork, a new enemy emerges: a man with a twisted smile carved into his face, known as the Joker. His deadly game plunges Gotham into a state of terror. To defeat this absolute evil, is it no longer possible without breaking the hero's code?
The Dark Knight Rises ('12 US)
