Introducing the RODE VideoMic Pro+, the latest addition to our lineup of high-performance on-camera microphones. This shotgun microphone is designed to be used as a primary or reference audio source for camcorders, DSLR cameras, and portable audio recorders.
Continuing to feature the Rycote Lyre shock mount, the VideoMic Pro+ improves upon the capsule/line tube and windshield of its predecessor, the VideoMic Pro, while adding a host of new features.

The auto power function (linked to plug-in power) automatically turns the microphone off when the cable is disconnected from the camera, allowing you to start recording quickly.

The integrated battery door makes battery replacement extremely easy and prevents loss.

Multiple power options: The VideoMic Pro+ can be powered by the included RODE LB-1 battery or 2 AA batteries, as well as continuously via Micro USB.

Digital switches enhance audio quality during recording and reduce post-production and editing time.

Features the following digital switches:

2-stage high-pass filter to reduce low-frequency noise from sources like road traffic and air conditioning
3-stage gain control with a +20dB boost to improve audio quality on DSLR and mirrorless cameras
High-frequency boost to enhance detail and clarity in vocals
Prevents signal clipping from unexpected transient spikes
