This is a D-handle shovel that is easy to grip and apply force with.
Its high durability and ease of use make it useful not only for work at base camp but also in situations where speed is required, such as rescues.
Made from lightweight 6000 series duralumin with a hard anodized finish.
High-quality, durable TIG welding is used at the connection between the blade and shaft, maximizing the blade's durability.
The serrated tip can break through hard ice, and the flat back of the blade is useful for creating clean surfaces when building snow caves, etc.
The blade is also convenient for placing a stove on the snow surface.
