Using the #1 slide makes the sound tighter and gives it more presence compared to the original P-shaped slide.
In particular, the landing rate for high D and E♭ has improved, and they resonate better. (I believe it will be easier to find the sweet spot for high notes.)
The water key on the #2 slide is now easier to use.
Please note that there are signs of use.
