Gorgeous vintage hand-crafted jewelry set featuring a large pansy flower brooch with two matching smaller flower earrings. This set showcases a beautiful modernist aesthetic with textured, sweeping petals and a central seed-bead detail. Brand/Markings: Marked Mexico and Made in Mexico in Spanish. (Please see photos of back for hallmarks). Material: Solid Sterling Silver. This is not marked SS but was not required at that time. The made in Mexico Eagle Assay mark dates the piece between 1948 and 1979 and serves as a silver mark guaranteeing it is authentic. Design: Hand-wrought, three-dimensional pansy flower bloom. Style: Mid-Century Modern (MCM), Modernist, Botanical. Condition: Excellent vintage condition. There is a small trace of green verdigris tarnish near the top hinge of the brooch pin and earrings posts mechanism. The fronts are clean and visually striking.
