Vintage Steinheil Munchen Culminar 135mm f/4.5 Lens

T Culminar lenses were made from the late 1940s into the 1950s. This copy, made in 1954, is in particularly condition. The barrel of the lens is extremely good with extremely minimal signs of use. Only indication is where the slip-on original lens cap has been used. There are no scratches, dents or dings, discoloration or oxidation. The glass is beautiful with no scratches, cleaning marks, fungus or mold, separation or noticeable dust. The 17 blades are free from oil. The aperture ring is click-less as made and moves smoothly. The focus ring is very slightly snug but moves smoothly. The lens ships with original front can and an M42 rear cap. Note: This lens is an Exacta mount but has been converted to and M42 mount with an adapter. The adapter has been attached with a flexible adhesive that could be removed with a small bit of work and a razor blade. Serial Number 1630747
