Yaesu Radio FT-101E 100W Model

This is a listing for a vintage, classic FT-101E radio transceiver.

* Operational checks confirm that both transmission and reception are currently functioning without issues.
    * The reception sensitivity seems slightly diminished, as indicated by the reception S-meter reading.
    * There are occasional contact issues with the mode-switching rotary switch when using LSB.
        (Contact can be restored by manually adjusting the switch position.)
* The power output varies depending on input gain adjustment and audio strength, but the meter shows a maximum output of 90-100W.
*   Includes a DC-DC converter and a cooling fan.
    * Includes a power cable for DC use.

* The exterior shows signs of use and age-related discoloration, but there are no noticeable scratches or dirt. Please refer to the photos.

* The microphone is not the genuine original.
* An AC power cable is included.

* This unit is certified by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications and the Japan Amateur Radio League.
* Regarding spurious emissions, it can be approved as a compliant device by applying to JARD. I previously received approval through the old TSS system.

* A Class 2 Amateur Radio Operator's license is required for operation.

* Please consider purchasing with an understanding that this is an older item.
