VTG Middle Eastern Mixed-Metal Urn Vase with Hand-Hammered Arabic Calligraphy

Up for sale is a beautiful, highly detailed Vintage Middle Eastern Mixed-Metal Urn Vase. This striking artisan piece features a two-tone design, beautifully combining a coppery-bronze body with a contrasting lighter brass finish gracing the upper neck rim and its two looped side handles.  The center of the vessel features a wide, prominent band of hand-chased, traditional Arabic calligraphy script created using a traditional repoussé technique (hammered from the inside to create a raised, 3D textured effect). The top section is further accented with a band of etched geometric arabesque scrollwork patterns.  Dimensions:  *  * Height: Approx. 9 inches  * Width: Approx. 6 inches (at widest point)  *  Condition Report:  This item is in good, stable vintage condition with a wonderful, untouched natural aged patina that highlights the depth of the metalwork. Please note there is a noticeable dent on the left side of the raised calligraphic panel (clearly highlighted in the close-up photos). As is typical with antique and vintage soft mixed metals like brass and copper, minor surface wear, scuffs, and small indentations are normal and add to its authentic historical character. The metal remains strong and has not been modernly polished or treated to protect its original aged finish.
