SEKONIC L-398M

SEKONIC L-398 Light Meter with Strap, Used Condition.

- Brand: SEKONIC
- Model: L-398M
- Accessories: Strap, Incident Light Dome
- Condition: Used. White flat diffuser missing. Two screws have been replaced with non-original parts due to loss. Calibration was performed 6 years ago, but there is a slight deviation on the high-luminance side currently.

This is a Sekonic Studio Deluxe L-398M. It has been heavily used for a long time, resulting in numerous scratches. Although difficult to see, two screws were lost and have been replaced with aftermarket parts (see 4th photo).

Regarding accuracy, it was calibrated by the manufacturer in June 2020. Currently, it is very accurate on the low-luminance side, but deviates on the high-luminance side. This is likely due to the aging and degradation of the selenium cell. Unfortunately, the L-398M is no longer supported by the manufacturer, and they would not perform recalibration (I contacted them myself). Please be aware of this before purchasing.
