Made from enameled cast iron, which spreads heat evenly through the pan and retains the heat for a long time. This makes it ideal, for example, for slower cooking such as roasts and casseroles.  Works well on all types of cooktops, including induction.  The pan doesn't have to be oiled and is easy to maintain thanks to the enameled surface.
