Clarinet Crystal Mouthpiece
Opening 1.19mm
This crystal mouthpiece was manufactured by Pomarico in Italy for Backun, a company founded in Vancouver, Canada in 2000. It is the signature model of Corrado Giuffreddi (Principal Clarinetist of the Orchestra della Svizzera italiana).
It is said that each mouthpiece is shipped after being hand-tested by Mr. Giuffreddi himself.
Purchased in 2015 and used for three years.
While the pitch is slightly lower, it is easier to blow compared to traditional crystal mouthpieces, offering a high degree of expressiveness and freedom. The resistance is equivalent to a B40 (or slightly heavier).
