Hanten (Japanese coat) / Happi coat, Nara Prefecture

This is a traditional Japanese festival happi coat (法被, hanten) from Imazaikecho, Nara City, Nara Prefecture.

The cuffs have a stylish striped pattern.

There is a small stain on the left cuff (see image 7). There are other minor stains, but overall the condition is good considering its age. It has been stored for a long time.
