Vintage Bavaria Germany White Porcelain Coffee Pot Mold K 1032 Gold Tulip Lid
Bavaria
Elegant vintage fine porcelain coffee pot, crafted in the renowned Bavaria region of Germany during the mid-century modern era (circa 1950s-1960s).This clean, glossy white server features a classic scalloped gold trim profile along the rim and is elegantly topped with a unique, sculpted tulip/flower bud finial handle featuring bright gold accenting. The underside of the base bears an authentic green/grey Bavarian factory backstamp alongside the incised shape/mold number K 1032. Structure: Excellent structural vintage condition. Absolutely NO chips, cracks, or repairs. Surface: The porcelain body, lid rim, and sculpted tulip top are completely smooth to the touch. Cosmetics: Includes a couple of tiny, smooth under-glaze dark specks near the upper rim and body. These look like factory-inherent kiln or mineral spots from the original firing process rather than post-manufacture damage. Extremely light vintage wear on the gold accents consistent with age. Really looks like it hasn't been used much, if at all. Total Height: 9 inches (From the flat base to the very tip of the gold tulip finial) Height Without Lid: 8 inches (From the flat base to the top rim of the pot) Total Width: 8 inches (From the outer edge of the handle to the tip of the spout) Body Diameter: 4 to 5 inches (Width of just the main porcelain body)
