Vintage Nina Ricci For Avon Gold Tone Purse Charm Fob Carnelian Teardrop

In the 1980s, Avon partnered with the storied French fashion house Nina Ricci, marking select pieces with the designer’s “NR” initials alongside the Avon stamp — a small detail that separates this from ordinary drugstore costume jewelry. This piece carries that mark clearly on its clasp tag.  A fine gold-tone curb chain, just under a foot long, ends in a lobster clasp made for clipping rather than wearing around the neck — perfect for a purse, tote, or keyring. At the other end hangs a single teardrop drop in a warm carnelian-orange hue, capped with a delicate scalloped bail. A small everyday luxury with a designer pedigree behind it.
