✪ A historical drama depicting the turbulent life of Kim Suro, the first king who laid the foundation of Gaya in the southern Korean Peninsula in the 1st century AD, utilizing iron manufacturing technology.
✪ The story of Suro (Ji Sung), who was born as the child of Jeonggyeong (Bae Jong Ok) but was found on a shipwreck. Through fierce conflict with his nemesis Seok Talhae (Lee Pil Mo) and his half-brother Ijinashi (Ko Joo Won), he grows into a great king of Geumgwan Gaya supported by the people and develops the country as a hub for maritime trade.
✪ Lee Pil Mo (Seok Talhae) was an unsympathetic character this time.
Ji Sung played a dynamic and wonderful role, and it was interesting because it was different from typical historical dramas.
