The image shows a kite called a Gayla Kite.
The Gayla Kite is a Western-style kite that was popular in Japan in the 1970s.
Unlike traditional Japanese kites, it has a triangular shape.
Tako and Kite essentially refer to the same thing; kite is the English word for tako.
The Gayla Kite revolutionized the kite-flying scene at the time with its unique shape and design.
New and unused, but kept in home storage.
