Description
Platinum with Gold by Thun Baum Brothers Dinner Plates Set of 4 THUPLWG Found in excellent used condition. No chips, cracks, fleabites or repairs. The platinum gold band is brilliant with little if any wear. Light wear and utensil marks consistent with age and occasional use. Dimensions: Diameter: approx. 10.5 inches Combined Weight: approx. 5 pounds 4.4 ounces (4 plates, not including shipping materials. From my research, this pattern was likely produced of fine porcelain in the Czech Republic in the late 1960's and 70's. The pattern is discontinued and some pieces are becoming increasingly difficult to find. This set of dinner plates will make very nice replacements or additions to your Platinum with Gold collection!
