Charles Brown Pottery Large Floor Vase Signed CB 75 Browns Arden NC
Brown's Pottery
This large-scale southern folk art floor vase is an original 1975 piece by acclaimed multi-generational American potter Charles Brown of Brown's Pottery legacy, this architectural stoneware vessel features a classic form decorated with a rich, complex flowing cobalt blue and ash gold glaze. * Incised with the artist's CB '75 signature on the unglazed stoneware base edge. * A heavy statement piece standing approximately 16.5 inches tall with a 5.5-inch rim diameter. The opening has a depth of 8 inches making it the perfect planter. Excellent vintage condition. The heavy, rustic stoneware body is rock solid with no chips, cracks, structural breaks, or repairs along the flared rim or base. The glaze has beautiful depth and holds a brilliant high-gloss shine, showing only typical minor shelf wear on the bottom unglazed foot ring consistent with its age and display history. The interior is clean. We carefully select every item and believe in transparency. In the case of vintage or pre-owned items, we don't always know their full history, but we have high standards and won't list or sell anything we wouldn't use ourselves. All items come from a smoke-free home. ## Browns Pottery, Charles Brown, Arden NC Pottery, Southern Folk Art, North Carolina Clay, Hand Thrown Stoneware, Cobalt Drip Glaze, Signed CB 75, Multi Generational Potter, Meaders Catawba Style, Country Primitive Crock ##
