Manuel Gustavo Bordalo Pinheiro Manuel Gustavo Bordalo Pinheiro Duck Pitcher 1906 Caldas da‎ Rainha Portugal

Exceptional early 1900s faience duck pitcher attributed to Manuel Gustavo Bordalo Pinheiro (1867–1920), crafted at Fábrica de Faianças das Caldas da Rainha, Portugal. This remarkable figural jug features three sculpted ducks — one forming the spout, another the handle, and a third perched on the removable lid — showcasing the naturalistic Art Nouveau style synonymous with the Bordalo family. Base bears the impressed Caldas da Rainha circular mark and PORTUGAL, dating production to circa 1900–1908. Also bears a faint impressed signature consistent with Manuel Gustavo's hand. Condition: Excellent for its age. Only a small chip on the underside of the spout's lower bill (barely visible). No cracks or repairs; rich glaze and fine antique crazing throughout. Size: ~10.5 H with lid. Bordalo Pinheiro duck pitcher, Caldas da Rainha faience, Portuguese majolica, Art Nouveau ceramic, antique animal jug, early 1900s pottery
