Georges Briard 22k‎ Onlay Sonata Snack Serving Tray

This item is a vintage Georges Briard serving tray, an iconic example of Mid-Century Modern (MCM) design from the 1950s or 60s.   Designer: Georges Briard, a prominent designer known for his collectible mid-century consumer products.  Design Pattern: This specific pattern is often referred to as Sonata. It features a 22k gold onlay design with doves (or partridges) in flight, fern leaves, and starburst/sun motifs against a background of white or aqua polka dots.  Materials: The tray is made of curved glass with wood handles and gold-toned end caps.
