Thorogood American Heritage 814-4208 Tobacco Leather‎ Boots. REPAIR NEEDED

Thorogood American Heritage Series 11 Wellington Boots (Model 814-4208) in Tobacco Oil-Tanned leather. Made in USA pull-on work boots featuring the MAXWear Wedge outsole.  🚨 PLEASE READ - CRITICAL CONDITION DISCLOSURE:  These boots are being sold AS-IS for repair or parts. They have been heavily used and show significant signs of wear. Please review the photos carefully as they are part of the description.  • Structural Damage: There is a major seam blowout on the side of the boot (see photos 4 and 9). The stitching has failed, and the leather has separated. This will require a cobbler or a speedy stitcher DIY repair to be functional.  • Leather Condition: The uppers show heavy scuffing, darkening, and wear, particularly around the toes and heels.  • Soles: The MAXWear Wedge soles have significant smoothing and wear, but they still have life left if the uppers are repaired.  • Interior: Showing signs of heavy use; original insoles are [included/missing - please verify].  Why buy these?  Despite the damage, these are high-quality Goodyear Storm Welt boots. If you are a hobbyist looking for a restoration project or need a pair of yard work beaters that you don't mind getting messy, these are a great candidate.
