Colclough Bone China Teacup and Saucer Set Pink Roses Light Blue Made in England

Pink roses on a sky blue ground - Colclough found a way to bring the English countryside in with this beautiful pattern. Trimmed in gold, the cup and saucer have delicately sculpted rims. The cup features an unusual shape (see photo) gracefully cinched mid-point before curving out again on its way to a small footed base. Colclough was based in the pottery-rich Staffordshire area from the late 19th to the mid-20th century. It merged with Ridgway Potteries in 1948 and in 1974 became part of the Royal Doulton group.
