This is a Japanese umbrella made with Kurotake (black bamboo) and Unryushi (cloud dragon paper) in a deep red color. From the black bamboo handle to the smallest parts, this Japanese umbrella is crafted entirely from natural materials. The fastener that secures the umbrella when open is made of wood, not metal, and bamboo pegs are used to connect the various parts. The unique resonance of the wooden fastener when the umbrella is opened is pleasant, and the black bamboo fits comfortably in your hand.
Unryushi is Japanese paper made by incorporating long, thin kozo fibers to create a cloud-like pattern. This Japanese umbrella, with its unique texture, boasts a beautiful color. Kurenai (crimson) is a clear, bright red.
